Rjukan Rock Festival asked us to do their flyers and posters for this years (2009) event. They used to target the grown up rock ´n roll audience, but this year they wanted to bring in the whole family with different music profiles each day. We decided to use those 3 different profiles and divide the poster in reference to the music and the targeted audience.

We decided to work with uglylogo who did illustrations resembling 80´s cartoon and skateculture, giving the audience a familiar reference, while still being of interest for children and adults alike. Fluorescent colours were added to make the illustrations feel more alive, as well as challenging the stereotypical use of colours in rock-related matter.
